Have you heard of the new and exciting trend of permanent jewelry? I have been seeing these mobile permanent jewelry businesses popping up over the past couple years and I have been so intrigued. I am someone that always forgets to put jewelry on. I have never been someone to wear too much. One thing that I have admired about this jewelry is not only that it’s permanent but that it’s simple and dainty. I finally decided that it was time to jump and get a piece or two around Mother’s Day with my daughter. This was such a fun experience.
I reached out to Botanical Things & Happily Ever Linked. The owner, Alexis, has been working with permanent for two years now. She is a breath of fresh air. She is mama of two that is local to our area and resides in Northern Harford County. She started Botanical Things back in 2021 after she realized her own need for a beautiful bookmark for her fun reads! Her product list has grown since then. Her fabulous resin accessories feature homegrown flowers off of her farm! Then, in 2023 she added Happily Ever Linked to her overarching business after securing her Permanent Jewelry certification! The Botanical Things & Happily Ever Linked business model allows for her to be completely mobile. We laughed because she could truly meet you in a local parking lot to get you that permanent jewelry.
Our experience with Alexis was fabulous from beginning to end. She was the sweetest with my daughter. There was a great selection of both gold and sterling silver options. She has an array of charms to add to make each bracelet unique. My daughter loved being able to pick which one her and mommy would have to match. Alexis explained all the step to the process, including wearing the protective glasses that my daughter loved putting on. One of the questions I had for her was about my daughter’s wrist still growing. She assured me that I could reach out when needed and we could add links to her bracelet anytime. She truly made the experience memorable for my daughter when she requested that her teddy bear had a bracelet. Without hesitation, Alexis had my daughter’s teddy bear styled with a matching link. I decided to get two bracelets; one to match my daughter and one that had a birthstone charm for both my son and daughter. I love the look of them both together. We truly had a memorable experience, and I can’t thank Alexis enough. She makes the experience for sure. We love our bracelets!
Botanical Things & Happily Ever Linked has scheduled pop up events around our area where you can plan to get linked. See the current event list below. Some are ticketed events and others are walk-ups. You can also reach out on Instagram, Facebook or Phone to book your own personal appointment at a local spot or even at your home. She is willing to travel. Also, she can do private Happily Ever Linked parties for you, your family, & friends! I may just have one of my own on the schedule because I want another already. Whether you’re a permanent jewelry veteran or a newbie, Botanical Things & Happily Ever Linked is the place to get your next or first piece. If the permanent idea is not for you, check out her Botanical Things line. She makes gorgeous accessories that everyone would love. Make sure to follow along with this awesome local Harford County small business on socials because she has big plans for something exciting. I can’t wait to see.
